Descriptif

GRAPE VARIETIES Gamay 100 % WINEMAKING The bunches of Gamay grapes are handpicked with great care; the grapes are then put into vats in entire bunches for the majority, without compacting, and not removed from the stalk. This process gives the wine many of its fruity aromas. Part of the juice can be heated also just before the fermentation in order to increase the colour and tannins; the maceration, called semi-carbonic maceration, will last about 12 days and then the end of the fermentation will be managed in liquid phase with low temperatures TASTING NOTES The wine has a deep consistent red color with beautiful purple tints. The nose is powerfully floral with reminiscent of violets completed by red fruits flavours like cherry and raspberry. Confirming these first impressions, the palate is fresh and fruity, well balanced
