Oligonucletotide separation columns deliver exceptional sample resolution and superior column life. Now this chemistry has a powerful counterpart, application specific standards developed with the same methods used to run the column chemistry. Designed in-house by our scientific experts, the standards in this portfolio are developed specifically with the column and system technologies. These standards are typically the same standards our quality control department uses to test the columns. They are now offered directly to our customers to save valuable sample preparation and development time.

The GlycoWorks Sample Preparation consumable line along with the ACQUITY UPLC BEH Glycan Separation Technology Column is optimized for use with ACQUITY UPLC systems with fluorescence detection (FLR) for separating the released glycans of biopharmaceuticals as their 2-aminobenzamide (2-AB) derivatives. The GlycoWorks Sample Preparation Consumable Line includes the following features: Specifically for 2-AB labeled N-Glycans but the protocol can be adapted for 2-AA analysis Works really well for the market of biopharmaceuticals that includes IgG’s (but not limited to this-just validated with IgG)

AccQ Tag Ultra, AccQ Tag Ultra - Automation, and AccQ Tag Sample Preparation for Accurate Amino Acid Composition Analysis The amino acid sequence is the primary structure of a protein and it is unique to a particular peptide or protein. Determining amino acid composition in protein/peptide hydrolysates, foods, feeds, and pharmaceutical preparations is important. Amino acids are also key ingredients in the cell culture medium used to prepare recombinant proteins. It is often desirable to monitor on a regular basis the consumption of individual amino acids reaction in the bioreactor so the conditions in the bioreactor can be optimized. Accurately separating, identifying, and quantitating amino acids is challenging. Waters provides a number of solutions that use pre-column derivatization so that amino acids can be easily analyzed. Kits are available in both manual and automated configurations.
